VELCRO® Brand PC28 Adhesive Hook and Loop
PC28 is a heat or solvent activated adhesive designed to create the strongest bond to the substrate and the tape itself, making it ideal for applications requiring a more permanent hold. Unlike pressure-sensitive adhesives such as PS14 and PS18, which cure over time. PC28 is ready for instant bonding.
Dry to the touch, the adhesive is activated by heat or solvents. For optimal bonding, apply pressure during application. The activation temperature starts at 100°C but avoid exceeding 200°C. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, humidity, loose particles, and silicone. For best results, the surface should be smooth, stable, and free from peeling paint, coatings, or brittleness.
